They Weren't To Know

TWTK is an ongoing fixed camera survival horror project I have been working on in Unreal Engine 5. Taking heavy inspiration from 'Silent Hill' and early 'Resident Evil' games.

Gameplay Loops

TWTK is very much a WIP - but much like the games it takes inspiration from, it will involve both combat and puzzle solving, utilising clever level design that will ensure the player will need to track back, maximising the most out of the play space.

Scope

Work is still on-going, but I am working towards a polished playable slice that consists of several levels.

Design

I have always been fascinated with fixed camera tank control horror. TWTK utilises these tropes to create an atmospheric and moody ambience, initially providing little to zero context for the player

All of the work is being done within Unreal Engine 5, with free assets.
